We are part of a vast network of trusted placement partners and can help you connect with reputable treatment and recovery providers throughout Georgia. Our services are confidential and always free of charge. We offer:

Consultations and Personal Assessments for families who are struggling with addiction and unsure of where to turn for support.
Placement Assistance and Referrals to services across the continuum of treatment and recovery providers.
Financial Scholarships to those who qualify and are without the financial resources to enter or remain in a treatment or recovery program. (See our Scholarship Guidelines below).

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

General Guidelines for Financial Scholarships:

Thank you for your patience as we remain faithful stewards of the limited funding our donors have entrusted to us. Please make note of the following guidelines when applying for financial assistance:

Scholarships are limited due to funding and prioritized to those most in need. While we encourage individuals to apply for assistance, please know that certain conditions apply, and scholarship funding is not guaranteed.
Uninsured applicants will receive the highest priority for financial assistance.
Financial assistance covers weekly program fees only (Admission fees are not eligible).
A minimum of $100 must be paid by the applicant to the program they are being admitted to in order to qualify for a scholarship.
Names of any preferred programs for consideration must be included in the application.
Incomplete applications will be returned to applicants (along with a list of missing information) and will not be processed until all required documents are received.
FINAL STEP: Prior to final scholarship approval, qualified applicants must participate in a short virtual meeting with a member of our team. No financial assistance will be provided until this step has been completed.

IMPORTANT: Determinations are made on a case-by-case basis, and all decisions are final. Approved scholarships will be paid directly to the program provider.

Carefully review the "Eligibility and Required Documentation" checklist (Page 1)
Fill in each section of the application, providing as much detail as possible.
Be sure to provide your signature in each of the designated areas.
Once complete, hit SUBMIT to send us your application.
Email your personal identification and all supporting documentation to info@thesobrietyresource.org.
NOTE: Incomplete applications will be returned and will not be considered for funding until all components are received.
