IMPACT.   It’s a word we all know, and one we all live, whether knowingly or not. Today’s society has deemed people who affect the opinions and actions of others as influencers. 

Truth be told, we are all influencers in our own way. We may not have the grand stage of Hollywood or the millions of followers on TikTok or YouTube. But we do have the eyes and ears of the people around us in our own personal sphere of influence. And what we say and do matters because it touches others -- positively or negatively. 

So, what would it mean if we all took a moment to reflect on the way we are influencing others? And how would our world look if we chose to make a positive difference?

That’s what a healthy society does. We care for one another and have empathy for the trials people are going through. We share our resources and talents with those in need. We seek to come alongside the struggling and bear one another’s burdens.

It’s our gratitude that compels us to Reach Back, Impact, and Help Others Move Forward. Whether you are an individual reaching back to invest financially or relationally in the life of a fellow sojourner. Or a family member reaching back to invest in the program that supported a loved one. Or a placement provider, reaching back to sustain the organization that supplied a scholarship for a client. We all can make a difference.

A simple act can create a ripple effect. Reaching back ignites impact that helps another move forward. One by one, person by person, a continuous movement emerges. Each singular action, collectively joining with others gains momentum and strength. 

Ultimately, the outcome is an unbreakable system and natural overflow of Making a Difference - One Life, One Family, One Community at a Time.
